Laura graduated from Ulster University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Music Honours degree and she is currently studying a Master’s of Music in Vocal Performance at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
She has been performing regularly as part of a duo on the Live Music Now scheme, giving regular recitals in community centers, nursing homes and special education schools.
Laura is a lecturer of musicianship at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Junior Academy and has worked with the National Youth Choir of Scotland as a vocal tutor. She has also taught singing and musicianship for the Belfast Philharmonic Choir and the Ulster Orchestra El Sistema project.
Laura’s passion for the Kodály philosophy has developed over the last number of years, and having seen the benefits that this aural based training can have on children and adults alike, she endeavors to inspire as many schools and community groups as possible.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys reading and running.
